Everything required for your meal is thoughtfully curated, locally sourced and delivered to your door at your preferred selected time. We believe by eating responsibly, that is, to reduce raw ingredients wastage, we can all help Singapore to move towards a Zero Waste Nation!
I'M JOANNE
A single mum to a 13 year old son who have been working in the telecommunications industry for more than a decade. I resigned from my executive job in 2017 and took the leap of faith to embark on my mumtrepreneur path. I love to bake and cook for my family and hence choosing the type of business to head into was not difficult at all. I first started Bakein1 (@bake.in.1) in August 2017, delivering pre-portioned baking kits and after one year in business, I opened up my first baking studio conducting workshops. Thereafter, in August 2018, I soft launched my first two Cookin1 (@cook.in.1) products via social media. Response was overwhelming and so our first website was then operational a month later. In less than 6 months, we have over 1k in followers and still growing!

Food is a big thing in Asian culture. Not only does it showcase the culture, beliefs and stories, food brings people together. Though we are spoilt by many options of eateries here in our tiny red dot, many would still love the smell and taste of home cooked meals. That said, many struggle to cook a decent meal at home due to various reasons – not confident in their cooking skills, ran out of ideas what to cook, lack of time to do groceries shopping etc.
As such, Cookin1 was born! I started curating meal kits packed with the freshest ingredients and simple to cook restaurant-styled recipes. The most important factor of meal kits is that each box is pre-portioned, means there will be no wastage. No more leftovers of raw ingredients or having to eat the same dish for the next day. You will now have the luxury of having different cuisines on your dinner table, spending more quality time with your love ones through the cooking process and dining together, and lastly, healthy and delicious meals enjoyed by the whole family.
